Dorinda's melanoma reminds us that bad things can happen to good people but that vigilance can prevent some very bad things like melanoma.

I am a prostate cancer survivor because my cancer was detected early enough for a cure. But it was almost caught too late. I had to ask my doctor to test my PSA. He mistakenly thought that a 4 was "normal".. Fortunately, I changed to a new doctor a few months later. He immediately ordered a biopsy when he discovered that my PSA had gone to 5 in a few months. A few more months delay and the cancer could have spread.

I have also had several skin cancers. Regular checks are really important.

Its a matter of life and death! Spas give access to people who can help us achieve not only relaxation and beauty but also wellness. Don't neglect to take care of yourself! You and those you love deserve it.
